ToolJiffy (tooljiffy.com) is a browser-based tools site. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Files and Documents

We never receive your files. Every tool on ToolJiffy runs entirely inside your browser using standard Web APIs (Canvas, File, Blob). When you upload an image or PDF, it is read by JavaScript code running on your own device. No file data is transmitted to any ToolJiffy server or third-party service.

2. Analytics

ToolJiffy uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4, Measurement ID: G-PP8TSZ1J9C) to collect anonymous, aggregated traffic and usage statistics to help us understand how visitors interact with the site and improve user experience.

GA4 collects standard non-personally identifiable browser and session metrics, such as page views, device and browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and coarse geographic region. IP addresses are automatically anonymized by Google Analytics and are not stored.

No file names, file contents, or personal document data processed by ToolJiffy tools are ever tracked, logged, or transmitted to Google Analytics.

3. Cookies

ToolJiffy does not set any first-party cookies. Any cookies set by embedded third-party scripts (e.g. Google Fonts) are subject to the respective third-party's privacy policy. We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN; Google may log request metadata per its own policy.

4. Google Drive Integration & Data Policy

ToolJiffy offers an optional Google Drive import feature allowing users to import files directly into tool workflows using the official Google Picker API.

Data Access

When you use Google Drive import, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope strictly to allow you to select a specific file from your own Google Drive using the Google Picker dialog. ToolJiffy receives only:

• The specific file content chosen by the user for processing.
• Basic file metadata (file name, MIME type, file size).
• A transient OAuth access token supplied by Google to authorize the immediate client-side download of the chosen file.

We do not read, scan, modify, delete, structure, or access any other files, folders, or directories in your Google Drive.

Data Use

Google Drive user data is accessed solely to perform the explicit user-requested file conversion, editing, or utility operation (e.g. image resizing, PDF compression, format conversion) locally within your web browser. Google Drive user data is never used for:

• Targeted advertising or marketing purposes.
• Credit scoring or lending decisions.
• User profiling or behavioral tracking.
• Developing, training, or improving artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

ToolJiffy does not sell, rent, trade, lease, or share Google user data with any third parties. Selected Google Drive files remain inside your browser and are never transmitted to ToolJiffy servers or third-party servers.

Data Security, Retention, and Deletion

All file processing takes place client-side inside browser memory using HTTPS encryption. OAuth tokens and downloaded file buffers are held in temporary volatile memory only for the duration of the tool execution and are immediately discarded when you close or refresh the page. We store zero Google user data on any server.

Google API Limited Use & AI/ML Model Training Compliance

ToolJiffy's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Raw, derived, or aggregated Google Drive user data is never used to train, retrain, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models, nor is it transferred or shared with any third-party AI/ML model training providers.

5. Dropbox Import (Optional)

ToolJiffy also provides an optional Dropbox import feature that allows users to select files directly from their Dropbox account using the Dropbox Chooser.

We only access the file that you explicitly choose to import. ToolJiffy does not browse, synchronize, modify, or delete any content in your Dropbox account. The feature is entirely optional, and you may instead upload files directly from your device.

6. Server Logs

ToolJiffy is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not access or retain these logs ourselves beyond Cloudflare's standard retention.

7. No Account Required

ToolJiffy requires no account, registration, or personal information to use any tool. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when it was last revised. Continued use of ToolJiffy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
